Caterpillar House

The walls of this house are made from excavated and rammed earth, while the overall design allows for passive heating and cooling. Three water tanks are placed on the property to collect, and store rainwater, and all the energy needed for this home is produced by the photovoltaic panels placed atop the roof.  The roof was designed to be low, and have little impact on the overall scenery of the landscape.
