Why Marmoleum?
Forbo — Natural Linoleum
Why Marmoleum?
Natural, strong, colourful. One of the most sustainable flooring choices available — and on sale now.
Marmoleum flooring is one of the most sustainable flooring choices available. The natural ingredients are mixed into unique and colourful designs, ranging from subtle marbled to modern concretes and intriguing striped patterns. This durable floor covering is easy to clean and maintain and is perfectly adapted for all sorts of applications.
Marmoleum is made from 97% natural raw materials, 70% of which are rapidly renewable, along with 43% recycled content. The key raw materials include linseed oil from flax plant seeds, wood flour as production waste from controlled forestry plantations, limestone, and jute — whose fibres provide the backing membrane onto which the linoleum is calendared.
